In 2015, a friend told me about the incredible benefits of spirulina. The only kind I could find was dried powder. It tasted awful... at one point I started adding ice cream to my smoothie just to make it decent! I took it every day for months but felt absolutely nothing, so I quit.
Years later, in 2024, I got access to fresh, raw, living spirulina. The difference was shocking. It had a delicate, earthy flavor, almost like avocado. I mixed it with coconut water and actually enjoyed it.
Within the first day I noticed more energy. A few days later, a chronic back pain I’d had since I was nineteen completely disappeared. That’s when I got obsessed. I started researching and learned fresh spirulina is packed with active enzymes, vitamins, all nine essential amino acids, prebiotics, and has anti-inflammatory properties.
I was blown away. So I started selling it myself at the farmer’s market — and that’s how Super Bloom was born.
How my Spirulina journey started
